The ArrowJet Spin Pro replaces the conventional label workflow with direct UV inkjet printing onto the cylinder itself. Where a labelled product requires a label to be designed, printed, converted, and applied as a separate production step, the ArrowJet Spin Pro collapses all of that into a single operation — printing the design directly onto the substrate with no label material, no adhesive, and no separate application stage.
The 360° wrap is achieved through a precision servo-driven rotation system that rotates the cylinder continuously as the printhead traverses the print zone, producing seamless full-circumference coverage without registration gaps. Automatic positioning and clamping ensure each product is loaded consistently and held precisely throughout the print cycle — reducing setup variability and maintaining repeatability across production runs.
LED UV curing is integrated inline with the print process, delivering instant curing of each ink layer as it is applied. This eliminates the dwell time associated with solvent-based systems and allows the machine to operate in continuous production mode. The dual negative pressure ink system maintains stable ink delivery across all printhead configurations — from single-head short-run setups to full four-head production configurations.
ONYX RIP software manages colour processing, print queue management, and production configuration from a single interface. The modular printhead configuration allows the ArrowJet Spin Pro to be scaled from 1 to 4 Ricoh G5i heads as production demand grows — protecting the initial investment while providing a clear upgrade path.

360° Direct-to-Cylinder Printing: Full Wrap, No Label
The ArrowJet Spin Pro prints the full 360° circumference of the cylinder in a single automated pass. A high-precision servo rotation system turns the product continuously as the printheads traverse the print zone, producing seamless wrap coverage with no seam, no registration gap, and no unprinted area on the final product. The result is a decoration quality that a label cannot replicate — the design sits on the surface of the product itself, not on a material applied over it.
Automatic Positioning: Precision Without Manual Setup
Every print cycle begins with automatic positioning and clamping. Smart positioning logic confirms accurate product placement before the cycle initiates, and automatic clamping holds the cylinder securely throughout the print process — eliminating the positional variation that accumulates in manually fixtured systems. Repeatable accuracy across every cycle, every production run, every shift.
High-Speed LED UV Curing: Instant, Inline, Continuous
LED UV curing is integrated directly into the print process — not added as a separate downstream step. Each ink layer is cured instantly as the printheads deposit it, which means the output is finished, dry, and ready to handle at the moment it exits the print zone. There is no curing dwell time, no UV lamp warm-up, and no solvent evaporation period. Production runs continuously without the per-part cure cycles that limit throughput on non-integrated systems.
Interchangeable Fixtures: One Machine, Many Products
Fixture change-over on the ArrowJet Spin Pro is designed to be fast and operator-managed. Interchangeable fixtures accommodate cylindrical products from 60 mm to 260 mm in diameter, allowing the same machine to print steel bottles in the morning and ceramic jars in the afternoon without downtime for tooling fabrication or specialist setup. Each fixture is designed to the product format, ensuring consistent clamping geometry across the supported diameter range.
Ricoh G5i Industrial Printheads: Production-Grade Output
The ArrowJet Spin Pro uses Ricoh G5i industrial piezoelectric printheads — the same printhead platform proven across high-volume UV flatbed, roll-to-roll, and direct-to-substrate production environments. With a maximum drop height of 18 mm and resolution options up to 720×1800 dpi, the G5i delivers the output quality and substrate distance capability needed for cylindrical printing on products with surface irregularities, embossed features, or dimensional variation.
Modular Printhead Configuration: Scale With Demand
The ArrowJet Spin Pro supports 1 to 4 Ricoh G5i printheads in a modular configuration. Entry-level installations can begin with a single or dual-head configuration to match current volume requirements, then expand to three or four heads as production demand grows. Scaling the machine does not require replacement — it requires the addition of heads within the existing frame. This modular approach protects the initial capital investment while providing a clear, validated upgrade path.
Dual Negative Pressure Ink System: Consistent Delivery Across All Configurations
Ink delivery in the ArrowJet Spin Pro is managed through a dual negative pressure system. Negative pressure ink delivery maintains consistent ink meniscus at the printhead regardless of ink fill level, print speed, or printhead quantity — eliminating the ink flow irregularities that can compromise print quality on systems using gravity-fed or single-pressure delivery. UV LED Curable inks are used throughout, compatible with the inline LED UV curing system.
Multi-Colour Configuration Flexibility: CMYK + White + Varnish
The ArrowJet Spin Pro supports multiple colour configurations: CMYK + WW (double white), CMYK + VV (double varnish), or CMYK + WV (white and varnish). White is essential for printing on coloured, metallic, or opaque substrates where CMYK alone cannot achieve accurate colour reproduction without an opaque underbase. Varnish provides a protective overcoat and finish effect — gloss, satin, or spot effects depending on application. The configuration is selected to match the substrate and output requirement.
Single-Click Job Initiation: Streamlined Production Operations
Once a product is positioned and the job is configured, printing initiates with a single click. The ArrowJet Spin Pro’s ONYX-driven workflow eliminates multi-step preparation sequences between print cycles, reducing operator time per part and increasing effective production output. Job queue management, colour profile selection, and production configuration are handled through the ONYX interface, keeping all controls in one environment.
Broad Substrate Compatibility: Cosmetics to Beverages
The ArrowJet Spin Pro’s UV LED ink system and adjustable fixture geometry support direct printing on a wide range of cylindrical substrate materials — stainless steel, aluminium, glass, plastic (PP, PET, HDPE), ceramic, and bamboo — across the cosmetics, beverage, pharmaceutical, gifting, and promotional markets. Print diameter ranges from 60 mm to 260 mm, with print width up to 280 mm, covering the majority of commercial cylindrical product formats in these markets.
High Precision Servo Motion System: Accuracy at Every Diameter
The rotation and traverse axes of the ArrowJet Spin Pro are servo-driven, providing closed-loop positional control across all supported product diameters. As the print diameter changes — from a 60 mm pen stand to a 260 mm food canister — the servo system adapts to maintain printhead alignment, rotation speed, and print timing accuracy. This is the mechanical foundation that makes seamless 360° wrap coverage repeatable across different product formats.
