By reading a barcode printed on the media, the XLA 170 instantly recognises the print size and adjusts all vertical blades automatically — eliminating the need for manual slitter adjustment entirely. Combined with X/Y blades image tracking, it is capable of unattended trimming with precision random sizes in the same roll, making it the world’s first truly automatic X/Y cutter of its kind.

This advanced level of automation dramatically increases production throughput, improves cutting precision, and eliminates the human errors that are commonly caused by manual blade adjustments.
